Klaus is a geologist with more than 20 years of experience developing mineral deposits throughout the globe, including Africa. He was the founder and Executive Chairman of AVZ Minerals Ltd. (ASX: AVZ). AVZ is a mineral exploration company focused on developing the Manono Project and has a current market cap of over US$ 2.8 b at time of print. He was also very instrumental in the early stages of exploration and development of the now known Alphamin Resources Tin mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
