Gerrit is a chemical process engineer with 10years’ experience in the mining and metallurgical industry. Gerrit held various management positions for multi-national companies that are active in Africa. His career started with 4 and a half years of technical operations management in the platinum, gold, and base metals process beneficiation industries. Thereafter he has worked in the project consulting industry covering all aspects of process design, as well as project and study management. His experience includes operational readiness and commissioning of various flotation concentrators, hydrometallurgical leach operations as well as tin and tantalum beneficiation plants.
