Andre Holtzhausen

Director

Andre is a South African engineer with over 30 years of expertise in mining and plant fabrication. A graduate of the University of Pretoria, he is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa.

Over his career, Andre has held senior roles at De Beers, managed alluvial diamond operations in Angola, and served as Project Manager at Bateman Engineering—overseeing the design and delivery of modular processing plants. In 2005, he founded MinMet Projects, through which he has led and delivered mineral-processing initiatives across Africa, Australia, South America, and Russia.

His technical focus spans lithium, tin, tantalum, and diamond projects, combining hands-on site experience with strategic project development and engineering leadership.
